Dragon fruit (Hylocereus undatus) is a tropical fruit that belongs to the climbing cactus (Cactaceae) family. Widely cultivated in Vietnam, the fruit is popular in Southeast Asia and is apart from being refreshing and tasty, the dragon fruit is a rich source of vitamin C, calcium and phosphorus, and is known to aid digestion. Dragon fruit, Its health benefits and the great dragonfruit nutrition benefits make dragonfruit cactus fruit popular all over the world - Dragon fruit is now being discovered in the US and that market is growing as people realize the special health benefits of it and its great nutrional benefits like its high antioxidant amounts and vitamin C levels.


CULTIVATION

Dragon fruit plant survives in poor soil conditions and temperature variations. However tropi-cal climate region are best for cultivation. The most common prorogation method in dragon fruit is cutting. Dragon Fruit are relatively easy to grow under good growing condi-tions and with the right planting material. Dragon Fruit plants will yield their fruit at two years old and be in full production by years. For commercial farming the life expectancy for a Dragon Fruit plant is 20 years.

SPECIES

Dragon fruit plant is actually a climbing cactus and needs support to climb on, usually as the plant becomes mature it forms aerial roots from the branches and find something to climb. So, it is best if you’re growing dragon fruit, find something to support your plant. Dragon fruit is a sub tropical plant, it loves heat and sun but it’s better to plant it in a spot that remains dry and receives only partial sun.

HARVESTING

Harvest dragon fruit when its skin color changes from bright green to red or pink. Its fruit is oval to ovate in shape and 10 to 15 cm long and forms 30 to 50 days after flowering. Per carp of dragon fruit is rough and scaly and is usually pink in color. However, there are also red or yellow dragon fruits depending on the variety. The flesh is located in the interior is white and contains black seeds.

We have largest network of employees who deliver Plants to customers at their door steps. Free technical services to customers on planting method, management practices and plant pro-tection measures. Our teams of Agricultural Experts periodically visits and supervise the planta-tions and suggest necessary guidelines to get better growth and higher returns. The income & expenditure indicated by the company is an approximate figure, as it also depends on the na-ture and hard work of the farmer.

SERVICES
  1. This includes Supervision, consultancy, guidance, Transportation cost first year.
  2. First production start after 2nd year and production will remain for next 5 years.
  3. Buy back agreement of Dragon Fruit.
  4. The income expenditure indicated by the company is an approximated figure, as it also depends on the nature and hard work of the farmer.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COMPANY
  1. For 1 Acre plantation the cost of Plants is Rs. 1,58,000/-, out of which 50% i.e. Rs. 79000/- has to be paid before the cultivation and the remaining half after the planting is done.
  2. The Buy Back Agreement Stamp paper of Rs.100/- has to be stamped by District Court of your area.
  3. For 10 Acre or more yield the buy Back Agreement Stamp Paper will be of Rs.500/-
